Key
Competences

Our companies Spi Aéro and Spi Portuguesa are specialised in surface treatment and industrial painting for parts that are mostly metallic. We work with parts in steel, titanium, stainless-steel or even aluminium. By joining our NDT department, you will be in charge of inspecting our customers' parts to confirm their compliance and integrity. You operate at the end of the production chain to detect potential defects and fatigue signs.
Our workshops are equipped with penetrant testing lines and magnetic testing cabins and our team is supervised by a Level 3 manager.

To join us, you must be a penetrant and/or magnetic COFREND/COSAC level 2 certified inspector. As set out by current rules, you must take a recertification exam every 5 years.
To be a good NDT inspector, you must be rigorous and detail-oriented. You are capable of assessing, if need be, the most-adequate method to inspect your part according to its characteristics. You also know how to fill technical documentations and meet NADCAP requirements.
